Make Friends, Not Contacts
We are not a networking club wearing friendship as branding. Ask what someone is into before asking what they do.
the room before the room
What we mean when we say intentional, soft, social, and ours.
I. why this exists
Aries Social Club exists to make gathering easier: fewer rooms where you have to perform, pitch, or prove you belong, more rooms where you can eat, make something, sit in the sun, be a little awkward, and eventually know somebody for real.

Quiet counts. Leaving early counts. Arriving late counts. Sitting next to somebody without talking for twenty minutes counts.
Consent, kindness, and basic care for the room are conditions of entry, not optional extras.
Come with friends, but don't make the circle impossible to enter. Introductions are community care.
III. frequently asked
Aries Social Club is an intentional social collective centering queer Black women and femmes. We created this space for anyone looking for genuine friendship, soft places to land, new experiences, and a reason to leave the group chat and actually go outside. ✿ Anyone who respects the designated audience is also encouraged.
Absolutely not lol. Aries is the spirit of the house, not the entry requirement. Come exactly as you are. ✮⋆˙
Nope. Coming alone is encouraged. A huge part of Aries Social Club is creating the kind of room where you can arrive knowing nobody and leave with someone you can't wait to see again. We believe in authentic connections and genuine friendships.
Some are, some aren't. We want to keep our gatherings as accessible as possible, so you'll always see the price clearly listed on the invitation before you RSVP. Paid events help us cover things like food, venues, supplies, artists, and all the little details that make an Aries gathering feel special.
You'll receive the important details for your gathering, including anything you need to know before arriving. For more intimate events, some details, like an exact address, may only be shared with confirmed guests.
Watch your email to confirm your tickets, attendance, and additional information.
Check your invitation first. Some gatherings are open enough for you to bring somebody along, while others have limited seating or capacity. If plus ones are welcome, we'll make it clear.
You still belong in the room. ♡ We use a simple consent system at our gatherings: ✦ Photos Okay, ◌ Ask First, and × No Photos. Choose whatever feels right for you, and please respect everyone else's choice too. Consent is always the baseline.
You may be captured in photographs at first, no need to hide from the camera or feel uncomfortable during the event. We edit out faces of all non consenting guests, and confirm that photos published to our album are of guests who approve of having photos taken. Guests without a visible photo consent marker will always have their face blurred, if visible.
Whatever makes you feel like yourself. Some gatherings may have a suggested mood or dress vibe just for fun, but unless the invitation specifically says otherwise, there is no dress code.
Come when you can. We're not interested in making community feel like another appointment you're failing to keep. That said, certain experiences, especially dinners, workshops, reservations, or ticketed activities, may have a real start time, and we'll note that clearly on the invitation.
We'd love to hear your idea. Aries Social Club is built around collective creativity, and we're especially excited about working with local artists, chefs, makers, photographers, DJs, facilitators, and other community builders whose work aligns with the spirit of the house.
If you're wanting to sponsor an Aries event, we encourage you to head to our donate page. Thank you for the love.
No. Respectfully, leave the elevator pitch at home. 😭 We're here to make friends, not contacts. Talk about your work because you're excited about it, not because you're trying to work the room.
Join Letters From Aries and stay close. That's where we'll share new invitations, early access, little updates, and whatever else we're cooking up next. ₊⊹
